My never ending nightmare. I won't bore you with the details, and I won't make any predictions as to when the production is done. All I'll say is we are making progress. It's been a comedy of two steps forward, one step back. I was way too ambitious in the design--especially the end tank castings and and have paid a lot of money for failed castings. Live and learn.

I will not give up.

I have just listed one in the for sale section if anyone is interested. It's new in the box. I had a JCW that I was going to install it in and I sold it before I got the chance. This is a good chance to get it for less than the group buy price and it's ready, no waiting.

Yes, it absolutely, positively is. I feel terrible about the long delays. I will not make any announcements about timing until I have coolers in hand. I would not presume to ask people to wait until we have products, but know that we are making headway (two manufacturers later--we've finally found one that can do it).

 

Although I went with an Alta intercooler. I am waiting on your "new design"

I heard rumors that you have intercoolers ready to ship but I checked on the website it is still backordered. Please give us any updates including whether or not you are still going to offer the group buy.

This thread wasn't Helix thread for a group buy. It was started by a customer. In general they have been very open about the hurdles they have been working on these many months.

I think this is exciting news for the next iteration of a great product and am looking forward to seeing it on the streets.

 

agreed, but they did come on the thread with updates and could have posted a link to their test thread so everyone on the list wouldve gotten an email updating the thread with new info. after all this time a small thing to do for those of us that have waited..and waited...and waited....sloppy. period.

they came on and acknowledged the GB very early on...

We can do another GB for this fall. To comment on the mounting tab question, the Helix intercooler isn't supported by the hose clamps on the ferrules, it sits on the radiator support, sandwiched between the support and the bumper cover. It's immobilized. This is a non-issue, but has been raised by a vendor of another brand to cast doubt on our cooler. Look at the results: performance, durability, fitment, quality.

Let me look into production scheduling and we'll see about a group-buy.
