Modding for reliability/longevity

Hello fellow NAMers.

So, new job, same MINI - my R53 with baby mods on it. I'll be in a better position to mod my MINI now, and I wanted to get some input from the people here.

What I'm really looking to do, is mod for power/handling/quality of course.. (Although I'd be plenty happy with 200-220hp) but also mod for reliablity.

For reliability I'm looking at the strut tower defenders, electric water pump (that'll be interesting to install), oil coolers, higher power radiator fans, metal oil catch can and metal coolant expansion tank, redline gear oil, better motor mounts (and other various bushings) that's it on the list so far.

What are your thoughts? Mine is an 06 R53 with ZCW and ZPP, 6MT, currently sitting at 63k miles.

Let me know what you guys think!
