Need Help Identifying Injectors

The other day I came across a box with some old 53 parts in it. In there I found a set of injectors that I'm unsure what size they are. I'm thinking 440 but totally unsure because it's been quite sometime. The part number has been filed off on all of them which make me believe that these have been modified.

Is there a way to determine what size these are?

Not without a picture there isn't

I'll say this too: Just because the numbers are filed off, doesn't mean that they're modded injectors. Most of the MINI tuners that sell injectors, are simply selling OEM take-offs from other vehicles (still new though..) and offering them as aftermarket solutions. This is common in the injector upgrade "industry", and not unique to MINI. So, anyways, let's see those injectors !

try calling around to a few local tuning shops in your area and see if any of them do, or know someone locally that does fuel injector bench flow testing. They can tell you the exact size the injectors are at 3.5 bar (stock mini pressure) or 3 bar (standard rating pressure for injectors) or whatever you want and tell you how the spray pattern looks as well as how closely the injectors are matched in terms of flow.
Happy motoring!

Looks like some 440s you got from Jan? I think I recall you getting some 550s when you got your race engine.

I honestly don't remember and with no actual identifying marks there's no telling what these are. Went with Bram's suggestion and sent to FJC.

I do know that the early 440s did have the numbers removed from the side.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. I could have had them flowed here in our lab for free.

-Third link on search page (titled "Bigger is Better").

Look familiar ? Yes, you should have them flow tested to be certain, but those appear to be Bosch 440's. Post #10 has the Bosch part #.
