Obx header help

I just purchased a used obx header from the marketplace, and I am aware that gaskets are unavailable with it

Has anyone bought gaskets for this from obx or had success sourcing them from anywhere

I've read conflicting info that oem gasket will
Work but there are some saying that the gaskets are
Different
Thanks

The holes for the ports and the studs are located at the same place, so I don't see why an oem wouldn't fit. I have an OBX header, but it's not installed yet, my plan was to buy a oem gasket because I have no trust in the one they provide. Now you've got me curious.

Back from the Mini stealership :p Went there last monday to get oil filters, but they didn't had the gasket in stock and since they are closing at 17h, I could only go there today. So, here's the results. The holes and the ports are located in the same spot (who would have guessed), but the shape of the ports on the OBX aren't the same. I already knew this and it's not really a big deal, as they are bigger and not smaller. There is room for some slight improvements, I'll use a dremel to take off the excess before installing it.

Upper one is stock, lower is that shady OBX one

OBX gasket on top of the stock one to show the difference, not so big apart from the shape.

And finally, the stock gasket on the OBX header. This is what I meant by: there's room for improvements.

The shape of the stock gasket should mirror the shape of the exhaust outlet of the cylinder head and that's really all that matters. you can gasket match the header flange by simply marking the are the gasket is open compared to where the header is not and once marked, grind like a madman. Stock gaskets are meant to last. that janky fiber one isn't

Yeah, I'll match the OBX header to the oem gasket. Using the one that came with the OBX would block a small portion of the ports on the head anyway.

Use a stock gasket for this.
I would not worry about porting it.
And I use one of those "Janky Fiber Gaskets " made by RMW for the big valve head, I am yet to have an issue with it.

No disrespect intended to you Colin or to RMW whatsoever but there are reasons why all manufacturers went away from fiber gaskets and it's longevity and quality. The MLS (multi-layer steel) gasket is intended for long term usage. The fiber gasket will not likely last 100k + miles like a factory MLS manifold gasket. I hope that you understand that I'm not trying to offend.
