RMW flash tool

Can someone tell me how this works? If I buy the 450 injectors and the flash tool from RMW does it have multiple tunes saved in it I can apply? For current and future mods?
Very little explanation on their website

No it does not, it is simply the tool to "talk" to your ecu, like many things on their website, you will have to call them to get their info.

No, you buy the flash tool, plug it in, drive your car, send the tool back to them, they read it, re-flash it, send it back to you, you load it & repeat till finished.

Not really totally true.
the tool will download the ECU setting file that way RMW can modify it for you.
the files are sent back and forth via Email.
Jan looks at data or feedback from you and tunes from there.
its best to do this on a dyno.
the tool will hold up to 3 files i think and the tool is keyed to your cars vin.
So call RMW before you buy a used tool!

Used tools are pretty much useless...
They must be shipped to Italy to be reset...costs about the same as a new tool....
The above explanation is right on.

Also beware that the tool can only be loaded with tune files from the tuner you purchased the tool from. So you can't buy the tool from RMW and go to someone else to create a tune file for you. So be sure the company you purchase it from is the company you want to work with.

Thanks Colin, got confused, I'm so used to logging data with the Bytetronik kit, just mixed it up a bit. Forgot that Jan "needs" the dyno info to make the changes, I had forgot that the F/A was the only one that logged & allowed accurate street tuning.
