Swaybar advice please :)

Can anyone attest to this guy?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Eibach-ANTI-...c9b7eb&vxp=mtr

I've done a lil research on swaybars. Seems like they are mostly the same, except for price and size. Not tracking the car, I just want to remove some of the body roll, and everyone goes on and on about how great an upgrade it is. I haven't really run into this particular brand on the forums. This one too good to be true? Thanks for the advice in advance!

Nice! Thanks.
Again, I seem to get conflicting results when reading about RSB installs. Most say it's great, others can barely tell the difference!
What gives!? Any further advice?

NOTE: the ebay ad is for the bar ONLY....in case you missed it.

I just did some reading/research about RSB, specifically 19mm vs 22mm. Noticed a split in opinion but I ended up going with a 22mm by Alta (have not yet installed it on my wife's Clubman so no firsthand experience yet)

Get the H-Sport Competition Bar, I definitely don't regret going with it over then 19mm. You'll love it. I almost spun out the first day only cause it was snowing in Michigan(I was turning super hard to test it out). But on rainy days and dry days, no complaints, I love it! Makes a big difference.

I would go with a big bar, I have a 22mm alta i kinda want to sell because its not enough for me.
but i tend to like a really loose car.
Its pretty hard to mess up a sway bar, just take it easy when you first get it lest something stupid happen.
Also the effectiveness is subject to the amount of rear toe you have also.

Thanks guys! reckon im "convinced" on the 22mm bars now. guess its a waiting game to get one at a steal of a price! hoping to spend $100 (or less, i wish plus shipping.

yes thats a super cheap price, but ive been able to get most of my upgrades at a discount, save for the pulley install done by the dealer. and i have to say, i dont regret a penny on that install! its nice to bring the car back in when the belt started to shred and get everything adjusted and other parts replaced for free!

one last question: do any / most of the swaybars have a "stock" setting as well? or is it just med and high?

Did the diy installation a year ago and initially set it to the middle setting to get used to RSB. Last fall prior to MITO, I set it to the stiffest setting and have since left it there. Wish I had installed it years ago. It changed the handling beyond my expectations. IMHO best bang for the buck mod available.

keep checking the classifieds here, you might get lucky (in fact, I got my Alta 22mm bar, BNIB for $85):

Also if you like the ALTA, I talked to them today the they are supposed to be running a sale later this week for V-Day.

I have their 22MM and have been nothing but happy with it. I have seen people say it's does for the suspension what the pulley does for the supercharger and I COMPLETELY agree. Two greatest BANG for the BUCK mods, Pulley and RSB.

My son's car has a 19 and I have the ALTA 22. I like the feel of the 22 better.

I'll go against the standard here and say that a 19mm rear bar WITH front IE fixed camber plates is the better solution.

does getting the new sway bar installed require an alignment?! ive already had 2, and need to know if i have to factor this into the final cost of the thing.

Nope, you'll be fine! If you changed your suspension like Koni's or coilovers then I'd definitely do that.

If you have a Firestone near you, get their lifetime alignment deal, you pay $189 once and the alignments are free after that

As stated by Andyroo the best option is to go with a 19mm rear bar and front camber plates. The camber plates also help to prevent two common problems of strut tower mushrooming and tearing of the top mount rubber bushing. Of course, this route costs more money.

If you plan to add front camber plates, I would go with a 19mm bar.
If you never plan to add front camber plates, I would go with a 22mm solid or 25mm hollow rear bar.

I have tried these various options (22 Only, 22 + Camber, 19 Only, and 19 + Camber), and I like 19mm bar with front camber plates.

I like the H-Sport (Hotchkis) bars. I currently have a Alta bar because I got it cheap but I added Hotchkis lubeable bushings.
