2002 MINI Cooper S exhaust help

I'm trying to decide on a exhaust system but there are so many out there I want something that won't sound like a rice burner. But I don't wanna have to talk over it in the cabin either :/
They range from 500 1600 dollars !!!

This is old news the Milltek and Stratmosphere have proved many times over the years to be the best for the R53. They make the most torque and don't drone on the highway and fit right the first time everytime.

You can refer to this thread that I started, I'm sure that it isn't the best thing out there but it sure was a bang for the buck..

Invidia, great sound and very reasonably priced around $600. What other mods do you already have? An exhaust is not going to add much at all in terms of power. cheapest option, one ball mod with new tips.

I was going and back and forth between Jetex and Milltek. Went with Milltek and I love it. Thought there was less burble after, but once things warm up, it's still there. The noise is similar to stock, but deeper a regular rpms and only loud at WOT. Tunnels are my new fav thing. :-)
