Hey, I am going to call a local shop that does good fiberglass and carbon ricer work tomorrow. The guy owns a MINI and he has a few custom pieces on it already. If I can get him to make a good hood scoop, who would be interested? I think this merits its own topic.... I will post one in "Interior/Exterior Mods"

Is that the original Rays? Here have a lot of replice wheels here in asia and all of em are pretty cheap. You can it for about $500 a set for 17'' wheels..

 

Yep! They the are the real deal....I think the fakes/imitations are the Volk Racing Wheels, also done by Rays. I would hate to see a fake G-games wheel!!!!

 

I'm interested to have one but it depends how much you guys are going to sell it..

 

But john, I think I have seen fake wheels which have the same design as yours. I'm not trying not make you mad or something but I guess they have all the design now days, even like AC, Hamann etc... but they dont have hartge yet, thank god!!

i know! esquiss, a company in france made the entire body kit, a very subdue kit that looks almost factory... someone on mini2 claim they have a source that cna get these kits in to the states... but i never gotten more than some very basic info on that...

the scoop almost looked enlarge...

 

There are actually alot of designs similar to the wheels I have, and they are not necessarily fake. Actually, since it's a simple design, I expect a lot of "look-a-likes," but I don't mind as long as they are not exact copies. And besides, I think this is a pretty new design from Ray's, so I hope there won't be too much imitations that soon. Whatever flaots your boat.:smile:

 

I really dont know how these people can copy the design and come out with it quite fast, very hard working people i guess. But we do have the new AC wheels for Bimmer, new hamann wheels, even sportec wheels! I think our mini would look great with sportec wheels...
