I've been reading the countless threads on exhausts and I have narrowed it down to Scorpion and Invidia. I like the cost of both and the quality of craftsmanship.

I want something noticeably louder than my stock exhaust but not quite Magnaflow loud. Which one will do me justice? Thanks! I know, beating a dead horse.....

 

I can't comment on the Scorpion, but I love my Invidia. It doesn't drone, it looks great, and has a nice sound to it that's noticeably louder than stock but won't set off car alarms or get you evicted from your apartment complex. No one will confuse the sound with a stock exhaust.

 

Thanks for the info. I went ahead and ordered the Invidia. I like the Scorpion but it from youtube videos, it sounded like it was just about stock volume, but popped and burbled more. The Invidia sounded like it had a unique sound. Works for me!

I can tell you the scorpion has a great sound to it. More than once others have said its the best sounding exhaust they have heard for the R53. There is no drone at all. I haven't heard the invidia for the R53 myself only on the R56 and it was pretty quiet.

 

It is hard to judge the exhaust sounds on YouTube. I've had to watch several videos of different systems to compare, even though I have an Invidia setup. And can't complain one bit on it, either!

 

I also have invidia, and love it. When cruising you can't even notice you have an exhaust, but at WOT, it likes to say hello.
