Turbo resonator delete

I'm going to be installing an FMIC in the near future and while I have the front end off I thought I'd go ahead and remove to turbo resonator as well. Do any of you folks have any idea if this will throw a CEL? Any ideas on how it changes sound? Thanks in advance.

are u talking about this thing in front?

thats the primary cat, Correct me if i'm wrong.

so if u remove that, u'll throw a CEL since the O2 sensor is there.

which car is this for?

i just recently did a secondary cat and resonator delete on a R55 S, and it is amazing!

if you mean the muffler/resonator between the turbo outlet and fmic inlet, no CEL with be thrown

you will hear more turbo/intake noise and maybe more power due to the elimination of the restriction the muffler/resonator causes

Yep, that's it and exactly what I wanted to hear. While I didn't figure I'd get much in the power gain department I wouldn't mind a little more turbo whine and less restriction is always a plus regardless of actual gains IMO. Thanks for your input folks.
