r56 brake caliper verification
I just want to verify that the r56 brake caliper for the S and standard cooper are the same.

R56 S = R56 = R53 JCW

is this correct?

according to real oem:
r56 caliper left = 34116778335
r56 S caliper left = 34116778335

It looks like if you order an r56 caliper whether it be for an S specific or a non S you are still going to get the same caliper

The brakes pads for the R56S and R56 are definitely different though....

Do you mean the compound or the size? Because the size of the pad would be determined by the caliper which would mean they would have to be the same.

The front pads for the R56 and R56S have different part numbers, which suggests that they are different sizes.
