Tracking at 85K miles

I've been taking the MINI to the track for HPDE a couple of times a year since 5K and am now up to 87K miles. It is my daily driver and I am worried about it as it gets up there. With this many miles, is it worth doing a cam/injector addition? Something else to consider: this is in FL, where it gets hot and humid and I have not put in a gauge set for oil, water, etc. Here's a short list of what I've done and at what mileage:

2006-2010
0K
When the engine was removed for the LSD install, we found the MINI has a JCW head. Factory mistake, no charge. Thanks BMW!

5K
Dinan CAI
15% pulley
JCW exhaust
Dinan stage 3 map
19mm rear sway bar

20K
MiniMania special race springs (bought from a racer)
H-Sport camber plates
High speed fan
Dinan STB

35K
ACT clutch and flywheel
OS Giken LSD
Supercharger belt
Alternator

40K
Bilstien PSS9s
TSW rear control arms
2009 R56 front brakes

2010-present
Another high speed fan
47K miles in two years, almost all hwy.

You're probably due for another belt. Make sure it hasn't stretched or the ribs have started to crack.

Get the car on a dyno to make sure the A/F is good throughout the rev range. That will tell you if you need new/bigger injectors. It can also tell you if your SC is on its last legs.

Probably time to check the corner weighting / alignment too. Front springs have probably sagged by now.

If you are worried about the heat do a coolant flush/change.

Otherwise just be thorough with your tech inspections. No loose bits. No leaks.

I have found the car to be very reliable given just normal maintenance. And my car goes to the track about 30 days a year and is just about to cross 98K. Original intake / head / header. In Texas where the heat is much bigger than in FL.

Do you like the Dinan stage 3? Have you looked into doing a stage 4 or 5 with your mods? Do you know the difference between them? I'm running Dinan CAI, 15%, and Supersprint catback.. not sure which 'level' is best? Do you have before and after #'s with the Dinan maps? Thanks.

The stage 4 and 5 maps are for cars with their throttle body, fuel system, and pulley. Without those mods you aren't matching up. The stage 3 is for cars with their intake top and exhaust. It's not a perfect match for you and I but its not bad. The only reason I didn't do a custom tune is the warranty: Dinan's tune did not void it. I'm now well past warranty and am positive a custom tune would be better since it takes into account my mods and other factors
