I think that *every* major auto mag article I've read about the MCS has mentioned that it can lay a serious patch. And even though I didn't do a full-on burnout on my test drive, I did turn off the traction control and could tell that there was easily enough power to overwhelm the tires.
Unfortunately, I can't afford to replace my tires every few months. However, just one time, I WILL do a Knight Rider, Dukes of Hazzard, Starskey and Hutch, A Team, Smokey and the Bandit style f-d up burnout from hell.
And this discussion has inspired me to catch it on film! I promise to post it here

And if that there doesn't inspire everyone to go out there and lay the smack down with their MINI's, I don't know what will. Good on ya buddy. Looking forward to the posting.
Cheers,

>>I did a 4000RPM clutch pseudo-dump the other day and got the tires to smoke more than Patsy from Ab-Fab. TOTALLY reminded me of my friends Camaro. Ya, that kind of white smoke from hell burnout. Whoa!

lol...i've decided that all posts need more Ab-Fab references
