didnt the hangers change in 04? I dont see many systems that claime to fit all the years with the same design.

plus I dont know if I would buy an exhaust from what started as a book store.

I did, and they did look similar, but noone has told me whether or not either is a legitimate exhaust. So, thanks for the help!

IDK about the fit and finish or even sound, but I wouldn't cheap out on exhaust. Get something that fits right and SOUNDS right...

I have seen this system on ebay as well as Amazon. TC Sportline is a legit company. I have visited their website and they don't seem to sell many cat-back systems anymore. I think Burout was a series of cat-backs that they sold but are now discontinued...? That is my reasoning for the low price, people just want to get rid of them. Anyone else have any info on this sytem? Or opinions....?

Exhaust is one of the first things I'd cheap out on, since it's just.. well.. Piping... And I don't crawl underneath my car enough to appreciate a 'brand name' or pretty welds.

Recently at a Helix pulley install, I think someone had this exhaust. It sounded nice. I don't know about flow numbers or anything though.

I dont know enough about exhaust systems to say that i'd cheap out on one, but that logic does make sense...it is just piping. Sounds differ, but yeah... Did you recall what this one sounded like, in more detail?

My only question would be how good are the mufflers. As far as the pipes go? A pipe is a pipe and this unit it seems as though is stainess steel and if fits right. So that would be good enough for me.

My only concern would be that it might not fit my 05 MCSc (the midpipe). If this is the case I would have to find a shop that would be able to bend the SS for me. I have called two places (not midas-type places) and they can't bend it. Is this normal? You would think that a muffler shop could bend SS, but I guess not. Who would be able to bend it?

yeah it may sound good until them mufflers get f-d up and start rattling like crap.. well I can't speak of the TCSportline but I' m just saying..

Also, I don't see a point of spending 600+ on exhaust anyways.. just wait for a used one to come up for sale..

I have done more research on this exhaust and it is legit. This company started out small, selling new spoilers, fiberglass body panels, etc (up and coming). Then they started getting into peformance exhaust systems. They make several systems for several brands of cars now.

I called them up and asked them why it was so inexpensive , and they asked me where I was looking (Amazon). Apparently they were having a special and there were only 5 left. I jumped on that! $300 including shipping. They are redoing their site, and the exhaust will go for a little under $500 from now on. That's a heck of a deal, and maybe this is a good up and coming sytem...who knows...but someone has to try it!

PLEASE let me know how this works out as soon as you can. I placed one on my Amazon wish list but with the way my luck has gone lately they will sell out before I buy (also waiting for credit card to close before I start racking up next months bills...). Really debating hard between this and a One Ball ($40 and 25 lbs lighter than stock)

Yup, I have. It is scheduled to arrive in a few days. I'm going to try to get installed ASAP so that I can get a review on it.... I hope its good! I was almost dead set on getting the one-ball until I decided to give the "$259" exhaust company a call. Trust me, I was just as skeptical as anyone reading this thread. I've concluded that it shouldn't be too loud (resonator on mid pipe helps), and its 2.5 (S/S) so the sound should be nice and low. The low price is temporary, so it isn't some knock off. The company is just new I think (in exhaust market), not very well known.

Someone on this thread has heard it and said it sounded good...so I pulled the trigger!

haha! it is SOOO tempting. I thought it can't be that cheap if it has that removable baffle piece. I went to their page and it was ALOT of ricer stuff, had me a little skeptical. But hurry up already and let us know! i don't want it to go out of stock!!!!!

They do have a lot of ricer stuff on the site. However they are redoing their site and they are adding a lot more products to it- what they're actually selling. If you notice they don't have any exhausts on there...yet. All the ricer stuff wasn't too appealing but then I went onto Invidia's site and they make a ton of stuff for ricers! TC makes an exhausts for VWs too.

Note: I'm not criticizing Invidia at all here... I've never heard the Invidia, but I've read that it sounds great. Just pointing that out.
