Track Mods for the Daily Driver - Thoughts?

All,

I know there are probably hundreds of "mod" threads so I'm going to make this hopefully pretty simple.

My 2005 MCS was special ordered by a MINI sales guy and he had a 13% pulley installed at the factory before delivery. I believe it is probably a JCW Pulley, but don't know for sure. The only other mods I have are a JCW CAI and stainless steel brake lines. I'm running Hankook EVO tires.

During the spring, summer and fall, this is pretty much my daily driver. I did 2 track days last year and will likely do up to a half a dozen this year. In addition to the existing mods I want to install a new rear sway bar, new front control arm bushings, new brake pads (track / street blend) and new brake fluid. Hear is what I am thinking for each of these additional mods, all from Way:

1. Hotchkiss 19mm Rear Sway Bar
2. EBC Redstuff Brake Pads
3. Motul RBF 660 Brake Fluid
4. Powerflex Control Arm Bushings and front sway bar bushings

The other mods I am considering, but have not yet decided on yet are the following:

1. JCW injectors
2. New Coil Pack (stock has rust on third terminal)
3. Colder Plugs
4. Cataback exhaust.

So, a few questions:

Based on the above, are my next round of mods a good choice for a daily driver / occasional track day car? Am I missing any "essentials"?

Are the next set of mods a good next step? Are any of them not worth the money or must haves?

Thanks in advance for everyone's input!

I think that is a good mod list! I would suggest doing your rotors too while you are at it. MINI rotors shouldn't be milled.

I have the Hotchkiss rear sway bar and love it as well as the powerflex bushings.

Another consideration may be to eventually do a tune, as well. Especially since you will be making enough changes to the engine to have the tune make a difference.
