Drivetrain my short mini story so far

my short mini story so far
I jumped to the S 55 plate in September 2010, 26k miles 1 owner after owning a cooper and Since then have done the following :
First of all was of course the dave.f :
Followed by the GP intercooler and if you look closeley you can see how i cut and modified the standard s cover to fit the larger intercooler :
Followed by the Fletcher cat back, which just got me through the mot even with a stock cat :
Followed by Alacantra steering wheel:
Then time to get rid of the **** Spokes With some matt black TD 1.2s wrapped in some parada spec 2s:
Then it was of to 1320 to instal the full set of jcw brembro calipers discs and pads with braided hoses:
Now to Sort out the handling, well I would luv coilovers but with so many speed humps around i went a diffrent direction, I decided to Buy some second hand 37k mile jcw springs in very good condition and put them on my 28k mile dampers. They felt great and quite a noticeable difference in handling. But! I wanted more control when cornering at high speeds So decided on some Anti roll Bars. I went for KWs as i wanted KW coilovers and knew they were good. Anway here is the rear fitted with the front to go on with new wish bone bushes:
.
Anway back to the engine I had a 16% kmt pulley fitted along with new belt and plugs, below is the before and after dyno with the above mods:
Attachment 9927
173.9whp / 150.7wtq
to
194.0whp / 168.1wtq
Very happy with the results
Update 11/09/11
Dechromed the rear lights.
Items used
Dremel+ gogles
Masking tape
Primer
Matt black spray
silicone sealant
Steady hand
So Today I picked up my new scoop from the sprayers and am very pleased,The voltage scoop is a tidy fit, but you do need to butcher the standard bonnet diverter to make it fit right. Anyway here is a comparison and a finished picture comments welcome. oh Aside from the price of the scoop you need to pay $20 delivery and £20 to get it through UK customs, soall in all quite expensive but i think its worth it.
After that I installed The Aux Cable for My ipod, Initially it wouldnt work, so i made some adjustments to the cable by adding a 3k ohm capacitor to help the stereo recognize the cable and all works fine
Next Toy was The Oil catch can, I also did some reaserch into Instaling this and found out that your should not copy the instructions included for a few reason, anway this is it put together tomorrow I will finish the Instal and add some photos.
I hope you Likey
Another small new Mod Samco induction hose made to order takes 25 to 30 days and would recommend trimming it or you will get a fat bulge at the front and pinching at the back :
Then came the plast dip petrol cap and colour coded light rings
Santapod 17/02/2012 ( Video / sounds like gear crunch but its wheel spin screech )
14.505 1/4 mile at 98 mph
all questions and comments welcome
