one ball - what size pipe to use?

Having searched NAM for days, I can't find what size exhaust pipe to use for the one ball mod. I have my own welder and want to buy the elbow before starting this project. There are lots of posts talking about it being done, but none are the specific. Any help, as always, is appreciated.

Not sure if you're still looking for this info, but I read in another forum that it is 2.5 with a 90 degree bend and flared ends. I believe the pipe is narrower upstream of the cat.

Hope that's useful.

I think the stock pipe is 2.25 but I could be wrong. You can usually eyeball it with a measuring tape if need be.
