No. Those are from the Stage 1 kit: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...52&hg=11&fg=95

The factory JCW exhaust is listed at $401.83: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...03&hg=18&fg=20
That's barely more than the stock exhaust at $393.94: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...03&hg=18&fg=20

There are no tips available for the factory JCW exhaust. The pipes simply end. The pipes have larger diameter and the add-on tips don't fit. There is also no JCW engraving.

That's funny... in order to pull it up, I put in my own vin# which is a factory JCW. When I clicked on the exhaust, it showed tips were available. (I'm using my bodyshop estimating program)

Well, I've had my factory JCW exhaust off so long, I couldn't remember but I thought they were welded.

Hmmmmm, sorry for the wrong info.

Real OEM is typically way off on the pricing, the exhaust comes with stainless tips installed.

Like I said before, the best thing is to find someone that bought a kit and didn't want the exhaust. For 300.00 bucks, it's well worth it.

Stage 1 kit exhaust
http://www.minigenuineparts.co.uk/mi...0_428_975.html (UK £ 511.60 currently converts to US $803)

With accessory tips:

JCW factory exhaust
http://www.minisport2.com/mini-parts...7_587_363.html (UK £ 248.85 currently converts to US $391)

The Stage 1 kit exhaust is louder than the JCW factory exhaust, but there are some complaints about highway drone. Some have swapped theirs to the factory version.

Hmmmm, Tips,,,,, so for about 4 bucks, you can hit the liquor store and pick up a couple 24oz Silver Bullets. After knocking them back, trim off the ends and mount them to the muffler. Large diameter, looks cool and can be changed out with different colors for either the seasons or car color or you favorite NASCAR team! .... Just an idea

Besides the volume, any real performance difference?

I'm considering adding a DP to the factory JCW exhaust in a couple of months.

For MCS 07+ over, the Factory JCW Exhaust louder or Stage 1 JCW Exhaust?

Stage 1...I installed the factory and prefer it. Deeper sound without the drone.

Not at all...Think of the stock exhaust + 50% - just louder and deeper. Yours sounds great but for DD, it could get a bit much for me.

My weekend car makes all the right sounds though!

that is incorrect information there are two jcw mufflers. the factory jcw muffler which has the tips welded to it, and the jcw tuning kit muffler which has the tips as a separate item. the msrp from a dealer for the tips is 99.50. here is the part number 18100433063. sorry if im a bit late on the subject
