It looks decently built. It should be comparable to the Cravenspeed based on the design.

 

Anyone have one ?

 

I don't see how it seals with the plastic wall behind it. the installed picture looks like it is sealed while the stand alone picture looks like there will be a gap where engine heat can easily get in.

 

Way over priced IMO and poorly designed. That CAI is more like the m7/DDM/etc, and not the craven. The craven replaces the ENTIRE factory airbox, bottom included. Also, there is zero reason to have the intake tube to have a bead roll like that, all its going to do is make installation more difficult.

 

+1 agreed there. There's no lip on the top of the box on the marketing photos.

Looks like cravenspeed overall though, cuz of the plexiglass.

 

Something can not look "overall" like something else, when there is only one thing linking the two. You take away the type of material the lip is made from, and it looks more like (but much lesser quality) the ones i mentioned. Again, the Craven airbox replaces your ENTIRE factory setup, and is one of only two designs that do.
