A link for directions
http://www.helix13.com/html/contact/...directions.pdf

Why not call them on their 1-800 line?
1-877-HELIX13
2424 Martha Street
Philadelphia, PA 19125-1615

From points north of Philly heading south on I-95
Exit on Girard Avenue exit
Follow Girard Ave. through a series of lights about a quarter mile until you reach Frankford Ave
Make a right on Frankford and proceed a quarter of a mile to the light at York Ave (5 way intersection).
Make a left on York Ave.
Martha is half way up on the right.
2424 Martha is half way up the block on the left.

Thanks MINIhune except those directions on the Helix site are from I-95 in Pennsylvania, NOT the same I-95 that's in NJ. But hey - you wouldn't know that being 6k miles away in Hawaii now, would you???

It seems like there are many different ways to get to Helix from the new jersey turnpike south. Does anyone know the easiest way? Thanks

I always take the Jersey turnpike south to Exit # 4 Rte 73 West (or north west) and stay on that till Rte 90 (west) and head towards the Betsy Ross bridge. once you cross the bridge you want to head south on Interstate 95.
Then Exit on Girard Avenue exit (I think it is the second exit once you get on 95)
Follow Girard Ave. through a series of lights about a quarter mile (i think it is about a 1/2 mile to 3/4 of a mile) until you reach Frankford Ave
Make a right on Frankford and proceed a quarter of a mile ( more like 3/4 of a mile to 1 mile) to the light at York Ave (5 way intersection, School off to your right).
Make a left on York Ave.
Martha is half way up on the right about a couple hundred feet.
2424 Martha is half way up the block on the left.

This is what the oppisite side of the street can look like.

take a cell phone in case you get lost -- as I did. When I was there last, the "Martha" street sign was missing in action, a victim of vandalism. Helix is in a tough neighborhood -- really not the kind of place to get lost. Bring lots of reading material, you'll want to sit in Eric's office while the work is being done.

Actually you won't. Not if you love your MINI like I do! Helix is one of the few shops that lets you "hang out" and watch every step of the install. Heck last time I was there with my brother, I even signed for his Borla exhaust from the UPS guy! I suggest "hanging out" in the shop and asking Eric questions as he installs. This way you'll know exactly what he's doing and can learn loads of stuff each time you go! Soon you'll not only know the "theory" behind these mods, but also where they are and even how they fit incase you ever need to do any work on it.

On the other hand, Eric also has a Playstation ONE hooked up to a little TV so if you have any games...I told my son next time I take him we'll bring his XBOX and the Italian Job game which is a fantastic game for driving the NEW MINI. The most realistic one out there I might add.

As for the directions, vdubdoug's directions are right on! Those are the ones I use. They're fast AND easy!

All roads lead to Helix.....

if you want your Mini to run faster.

Personally, I prefer NJ Turnpike->Exit 4-> DollyMadBridge->Girard...Mapquest special.

Just follow your nose, or maybe your colon. Crack your window and follow the smell of the greasy cheese steak, then hang a right when you smell beer brewing.
