Hmm, looks like it dosent really come alive until 4000 RPM. So it would be deasent as a DD if it was babied.
Looking at the dyno page https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...no-charts.html , it looks to me like the pre-4000 rpm is at least as good if not better than most listed on this thread. That being said, I wouldn't say it doesn't really come alive until 4k, I'd say it probably becomes explosive after 4k. More tuning will probably lead to even better results..............
Personally I'm not a fan of the power band, it's a little too peaky, but it's kinda what one would expect from a centrifugal fed 4 cylinder so I can't hate on the tuner ( too much :p ).
I'm guessing the size/trim of the SC that was used is limiting the TQ power curve. The previous builds had better low end. As mentioned it could be tuning too though, so maybe there will be an improvement there. Cant really see a vast improvent being made to HP other then maybe reving the engine out more.
No one is going to want to shift to the next gear with all that pulling going on. It will be really interesting to see how it progresses from here. Definitely a race car and built for reving.
