Bla bla bla .

I just got off the phone. I can't believe it pulled that with less boost then mine. It's a monster and it's not done yet. I've also seen the dyno chart

I don't think "He" want to show it yet as it's not done. Imagine when it is...done.

Love it!!

The one referred to here in this thread actually has a functioning hood, goes on the track (road course) and is a daily driver as well!!

And to think, I'd be happy with a mere 320whp.

Given the past reputation of the cars owner and previous claims I can see where peoples skepticism comes from,. However I have seen SC'd Hondas make over 600 HP so I would be willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and say grats on finally hitting 400 if he did.

What bothers me is the miss leading statements about the car. It does the MINI community a great dis-service to have the notion floating around that a daily driven car can do this especially when the car in question is neither daily driven or a street car.

It's bad enough other shops still have to deal with the false hopes that the M45 can make 300 HP or that tuning and pulley alone can get them 220 whp. We don't need people now looking to make 400 HP while grabbing the groceries.

Not trying to start a flame war, just asking to call things for what they are. Again grats on the 400 HP

Appreciate your statements Mike no matter how incorrect they are. It is true that at 400+HP a Mini will be a handful when driven hard. That said this very same car with a very similar set up and just a little less power recently was driven cross country from CA to the Dragon and back with not one single problem. I might add that this new set up while having more power is actually more refined. It also IS driven daily by it's owner!

It also is anticipated that it's performance on the track will be much improved too. A fact that will be demonstrated very soon!!

Again thanks for your comments and interest!!!

I think most people realize that a pulley and tune will net around 190-200whp, give or take a few.

I"m interested in this new product with the hopes that a scaled back version for more daily driver/very occasional track duty, can get me in the 300 whp arena fairly easily (with the addition of head, injectors and a new tune).

Time will tell, but I'm very hopeful. At least someone is working on this!!

Have you seen the car daily driven? Do you know where it is stored on a daily basis? Of course you do, living 3000 miles away gives you the perfect vantage point to make that statement.

Also last I checked most daily driven cars don't require more then pump gas to run. But if you think this one can then I will be more then happy to head up to Wilmington to dump 91 into it. It should run amazing.

Like I said before I'm not trying to turn your thread south. Just asking you to be honest about certain things. This industry is very small and it's hard to BS those that actually know the truth.

It's not the first time said owner has made claims that were not true.

You would be shocked at how many people call in with raised expectations based off some of the false data that has been put out in the past.

I'm glad you are hopeful for a particular product line, but it isn't the only one around is is by far not the first to make significant power. Reliable daily driven 300 whp MINIs were around long before a certain company was.

Actually when was the last time you saw this car parked, driven or otherwise?

Having spent time at the Dragon with the car where the owner had driven it (6000 miles round trip?), I actually do have first hand knowledge of the car. Not to mention that it has a distinctly different sound than the owners Audi and I talk to him often on the phone when he is driving it!!

Please do bring some 91 gas and it will happily be run in the car, you'll love the way it sounds and runs!!!!

PS: If ya hurry You might get to feel what 400+ HP in a Mini feels like before I do!!
