You rock!

Sent you a PM with the info Ray. Doing the the wiring this afternoon. I know I can run it without, but my OCD doesn't like the idea of one lonely wire not hooked up right.

Just a question. What is everyone seeing as far as consumption? I am going through about 3 gallons per tank of gas. I am using the .8mm jet with no restrictors gain is turned up to around 1.25-1. Threshold is at around 30-35%.

Unless you're on a track, that seems crazy high. I go through about half a gallon of meth per tank of gas in spirited street use. I use a 0.7mm jet with 0.5mm restrictor. I set the threshold to start flowing meth at 6-10psi boost(load dependent) with gain about 11:00. The restrictor doesn't really cut the max flow but it helps get a more linear flow sensor reading. Lowering the gain a bit should make the transition a bit smoother as the meth starts to flow. I updated to the hfs-4 controller and am pleased with the improved tunability. It allows varying th control input between 100% boost driven to 100% IDC driven. Mine is set for about 75%boost/25%IDC which gives me a smooth transition from 0 to full flow. I hit full flow around 14psi boost.

Here in Germany It is not unusual to cruize at 100Mph on the Autobahn and that is where the majority of the 3 Gallons go. The flow seems to be coming in fine. It is a very gradual curve when it does engage and flows well with the IDC. I am seeing good temps and am ok with the way it is setup. I was just curious about other users consumption rates. I am also using -20F washer fluid as I cannot find methanol anywhere. 2 Gal howerton enginnering tank takes about 1 3/4 Gal and two bottles of heet. Should be roughly 40% mixture.

Sounds fun. Are you running much boost cruising at 100mph? If your're less than 6-8psiboost and flowing meth I'd recommend increasing the threshold. Jeff advises against running the pump continuously for longer than a minute. Wish we could drive like that here in the US

The boost level varies but I would say that it averages out to less than 6-8 PSI unless uphill. I specifically asked about any issues of running the pump as on the Nurburgring it is 8 minutes of nothing but full throttle driving. I asked about the cooling fan and had that added in to the tank enclosure for good measure. I will check my boost levels on the way home from work today.

Your comment confuses me. The Aquamist pump is always running, or at least always pressurizing.

False. While on initial setup of the system you run fluid through the system (purge it) to get rid of any air bubbles, it does not stay pressurized. It is very obvious when the pump is running or not, as with the seat down it certainly isn't a quiet pump

Agreed, however in theory when the FAV closes it should keep the line running from the pump "Pressurized"?. The car is running great still and I am dissappointed that this wasnt installed earlier on. On a stage 3 tune it is crazy. The faster you go the harder the car pulls.

Very cool. I can show you the "no drill" completely reversible jet adapters we have for installing meth injection on the N14 when you come by the shop next week.

You could always make a fitting to go into the noise maker, but then you have less "time" for charge temp to drop. Or any in-tract coupler could make it completely reversible. eg post intercooler soft pipe

There's nothing to really f up...

Unless you're color blind haha ...I tapped the wrong ECU wires at first cuz I couldn't tell the right colors lol.

You'll be fine though, might take you longer than you think, but nothing is incredibly difficult. You can PM me if you need help along the way...I'll try to remember what I did

Oh yeah there is. It is apparently essential the three earth wires coming from the controller are not connected together and not connected to the battery earth. I did this and had lots of problems and could not get the system working properly until they were separated.

That isn't Fn up, that is SOP for doing installs. Fn up is twisting off the nozzle in the adaptor and calling up Jeff begging for a new nozzle to be sent ASAP

FINALLY! After a day and half, I've finally succeeded in getting this done! Thumper was right out getting the colors mixed up. I kept throwing a wastegate P2882 code and couldn't figure it out. Well, I called up Jeff and told him I was throwing a code even after I tapped both white and orange into the white wire. Well, sure enough, it was suppose to be white and brown. Brown looked orange in the diagram to me!!!

Retapped, fired her up and I was good to go. All other tests checked out and had a blast down the street. Loving meth now!!!

There are white and black earth wires coming from the power harness. Buggered if I can find the other one as I look at the diagram. Maybe my memory is off.
