OMG STOP with all these repetitive threads!!!!
PLEASE
PLEASE
PLEASE
PLEASE
USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION!!!!!!

"do more research" if you've done any research you'd see this question has already been answered many times over. You will not see performance gains from just an exhaust. If you want loud go with a straight pipe. Look it up, its been discussed over and over and over and over and over again. You'll see gains after you tune it. But please before starting a thread on how to tune the car, do a search, you'll find all your answers.

I'm saying this in the nicest way possible, it just that these forums get littered with threads that don't get answered because its already been answered in another thread and people don't like repeating themselves in general. With more of these repetitive posts, people who do use the search as intended just get led to these threads, which just makes them frustrated. So PLEASE, stop.

I also just smashed my head against a wall. These repetitive discussions should automatically be deleted. NAMs server storage must be getting full because of all the "exhaust" questions

If your going for loud save your money and have an exhaust shop make it custom for you with a loud magnaflow muffler.

One could argue that more of these repetitive threads means more pages getting picked up by search engines, which means more "drive by" users that drives up ad impressions and in the end, makes NAM money. So it's a self-feeding animal.

But I agree, the redundancy in the end makes it much harder to find the information sought. There's a sticky thread in the Gen 1 section for exhausts, shouldn't there be one for the Gen 2 section?

FWIW, I vote for the JCW full exhaust. But I like things quiet until necessary.

Thumper's got a video of his Invidia with a catless downpipe. Sounds wicked!
