Loudest Intake?

Hey everyone, I'm planning on buying an intake for my '03 Cooper S. I was just wondering which one will produce the best/loudest noise, but also be a good intake (though I'm sure they're all about the same in that respect). Thanks!

Open intakes on an R53 are the loudest. I have a good used Alta intake that would prob satisfy you, but if you want what I recommend I would suggest the DDMworks intake. Also remember if you add a pulley it will be louder too.

Alta is the loudest. Sounds great and works fine.

For a little extra noise, make sure to cut open the cowl panel behind the filter (near the firewall). Here is an example of the Mini Madness panel that you can buy if you do not want to cut a hole in your panel.

+1 DDM works, no cutting, no extra parts needed to complete a neat professional looking install, check my gallery for a peek.

Just got the DDM intake last week from Way, first thing I noticed was the supercharger whine was MUCH louder at higher RPM's :D, makes for fun driving with the windows down. Next thing was when shifting I also get this "woosh" sound, a definite bonus! Highly recommended!
