Took my first ride in a Sprintex, and its quick. Not only that, but preintercooler intake temps were in the low 200's at WOT. I must say, impressive none the least. The intercooler was an M7 DFIC and it brought down intake temps into the low 100's when it's 90 degrees outside. Congrats D!cks on the build, you really got a monster there.

Sad....

Just checked the Boostec site and there's now a disclaimer saying the Sprintex kit won't work with auto trannies.

Ah, well.... It was probably just a pipe dream for me anyway. I'll have to live vicariously through the rest of y'all.

A solution is being worked on right now. You auto guys still may be able to play too.

Here is a bit of a update for you . We have completed the main modification to the standard system which is creating a new intake to fit within the confines of the auto equipped Mini. Next up is reassembly and tuning. More info to follow as it becomes available.

It should do the trick . The main concern was keeping the TB in a location where was no modification to the stock wiring harness . Mission accomplished on that end , more to come

I installed the 64mm pulley on mine. Boost went up by 2~3 lbs, the sounds got louder, and there was a noticeable difference in thrust. It also maxed out the HPA pressure scale on my fuel map.
