Drivetrain Time for new injectors and O2 Sim?
Time for new injectors and O2 Sim?
My list of mod's
Alta CAI, Alta 15% S/C, DFIC, Alta 2.5 Cat-back.
I just installed a header with a hollow cat, and I was wondering if its time now to install some different ingectors, and possibly a O2 Sim. Not sure what CC injectors to go with, and also should i go with some different plugs as well? I dont know much about these items, so any useful knowledge would be awesome!
Thanks!

I do not have enough knowledge on 02 simulators to directly comment but I tried to find some threads that had information.

Just search "O2 Simulator" and see what other information comes up.
Also, when you installed the 15% pulley, did you go to a lower heat range spark plug?
And what is the mileage on your R53?

I did new plugs and coil pack when I did my 15% pulley. I also got the JCW 380cc injectors and a tune at the same time. If you don't have any warning codes I'm not sure of the point of an O2 simulator, but lik JohnW94 I don't know much about them.
+1 on getting a lower heat range spark plug. All your mods give a less restricted air flow and more air throughput, so I would guess you would benefit, at least in mpg if not butt-dyno, from lower heat range plugs.
Way at Way Motor Works always has a wealth of information to give if you call his shop. 1-317-201-8670 http://www.waymotorworks.com/

Yes, colder plugs are a must,
As far as injectors, all up to you, just some things to think about:
#1 Are you going to go farther with your power mods?
If not the answer is easy....380's, no tune "needed" but will give you what you need, even with a tune.
If yes, then there's,
#2 how soon, and will you have access to a tune?
Anything bigger than the 380's require a tune, won't even run without it, and then I say skip the 440's, everyone is having really good results with the 550's and you'll prob. never need more.
And for anyone who say's that 550's are too much, I just had my tune tweeked and here are some mpg results:
60mph - 34.5mpg
65mph - 31.3mpg
70mph - 30.9mpg
75mph - 27.4mpg
80mph - 27.0mpg
Everyday driving around town 28.3mpg
I did my test on the open hwy @ 50 mile stretch's @ a time, no cruise with emphasis on maintaining a consistant speed not on trying to get the best results.
Hope this helps.
