Drivetrain Dyno Help
You want to do your dyno runs at or near the transmission's 1:1 ratio, which for the Cooper and Cooper S is 4th. This is standard practice in the chassis dyno world. If you do your run at the lower gear, you’ll end up not loading the engine fully, and get erroneous (and low) readings.

I;m geting Nology's PDA-Dyno and it says to get the car moving at a slow rpm, so should i put it in first then get it moving, then clutch it put it in 4th? is that gonna hurt anything to make a jump in gears like that? and then it says to WOT it.
thanks
