hey guys just threw on IE cat back on my 05 MCS and I love it. Only thing that was disappointing were the tips were uneven, cut about 3mm off.
I can definitely live with it for $340.

re:

no not at all... the only bad thing I can see is added vibration in the cabin at lower rpm"s while revving.

I don't think I like the sound as much as I like Altas's but for $340 I think I'm going to have to go with the IE about how much of a hp gain do you think you are getting?

you shouldn't notice a gain from exhaust alone, it will sound better. You need to coordinate your mods to work together.

If any of you guys want a new exhaust but think that the IE cat back is to quite, like me, and you havent done a CAI, pulley reduction, colder spark plugs, and wires to go with the plugs then check out outmotoring.com's stage 2 kit. The kit starts at $1089.95 and goes upto $1499.80 but it all depends on what you want in the kit. I am not trying to be a salesman and do not work for outmotoring.com. I just wanted to let you guys know about a great kit that includes just about everything that MINI owners do when they start modding their cars.
