Drivetrain no pops or bangs

are you the original owner? its possible that a previous owner could have gotten a tune, and thus got rid of the burble (im assuming this is what you mean by "pops"). If the rest of the car is completely stock, the chances of your car having a tune is pretty slim. its possible that theres something wrong with your exhaust somewhere. It can be hard to hear the burble from the drivers seat. stand behind the car while someone else (in neutral) blips the throttle up to 4k rpm and let it off. you should hear the burble then. if not, then report back.

Applellial- like stated, do you have a tune? Or any modifications that you know about? A different exhaust could minimize the burble. Also, nothing is wrong with your exhaust.
Luseboy, what year car do you have? Trust me, you would hear the burble from the drivers seat, especially if you are trying to hear it.

Sorry, that is a typo on my part. That should have been NCS...It's the software that can be used on a laptop to link to your car's computer to program many functions.
My Mini is an '05, so it probably doesn't have as much stuff to monkey with as the newer generations - but I'm gonna check it out anyway.
