Ported head.. Will the stock ECU take it?

I am getting a spare cylinder head ported right now..

My MINI actually have an air intake and a cat-back exhaust (Magnaflow)

Will the stock ECU take the head modification without any tuning?

After the head is installed I'm planning on getting a S/C pulley and ECU Chip but I want to test before/after the head porting on a dyno to see the gains.

Thanks,
--Ben

Shouldn't be too much of a problem, I ran one of Jan's heads for a few month's with a stock JCW tune with no issues @ all.

NO CHIP, wait to get a custom tune, especially if you're having the head done yourself, no one would be able to match a custom ported head to a "canned" tune properly.

Also while running on the stock tune just don't play Mario Andretti too often, WOT would be the only place that you should be able to do any dammage if at all.
