Fuel injectors, please advise?!?!?!

Hey everyone,
So I am getting my car tuned next month and I am kind of at a crossroads. I am going to Germany for summer school for 5 weeks so I need to stop pouring money into my car and start saving for my upcoming global seminar. I have about $1300 left set aside for my performance mods and I need to make a decision. I am planning to get the WMW 15% pulley, NGK plugs, tensioner strap, and a tune from Mynes Performance. I don't have a rear sway yet and I really want to upgrade to that soon. I was going to have larger injectors installed during my tune, Bosch 550cc injectors to be exact. However that is going to set me back an additional $300 and I could use that money to buy the coveted rear sway bar I have had my eye on.

So here is/are my question(s): Given my existing performance mods (GP Intercooler with DDM Diverter, JCW CAI, Magnaflow Cat-Back Exhaust) and the performance mods I am planning to have installed March 19 (15% SC Pulley, NGK Plugs, Tune) is it absolutely necessary to have larger injectors at this point? Will the stock injectors hold up for now? If I decide to go with JCW 380cc injectors, could I install them after my tune without have to have my software re-calibrated?

I drive about 250 miles a month. My car sits in the garage without seeing the light of day 4-5 days of the week since I take the shuttle to/from school. I am not a hard core racer, but I do like to get a little heavy on the pedal from time to time.

Thanks in advance you guys, your advice is always appreciated!!

The 550 injectors are a bit big for what you have done and are planning to do. The JCW 380's should work fine for you. Put them in just before the tune.
The sway bar is a nice addition to the R53. You will really notice the better handling almost right off.
If it was my car, I fix the handling first and then do engine mods when you get back.

Will it be safe to run without the 380cc injectors or is this something that is really recommended at the time of tuning?

Honestly you will be fine with the stock 340's for now, just have Mike be a little conservitive with the tune.

Ah see it is comments like the last one that make me wonder if I should just wait and have larger injectors installed at the same time. I'm the type of guy who is all or nothing, so when you say have Mike be conservative with the tune, does that mean I am missing out on something?

Nope you will still gain the power you want, but he might dial back the timing a degree or two so the car wont lean out on those days where the atmospheric pressure, and temperature god's get along and make your car want to run. No real change in power, just keeping the engine safe.

M7 UCC, is about the best handling mod you can do. I would do a rear swaybar in there as well. If you ever drive between oxnard and ventura you will notice a huge difference. That stretch of road was the worst cal-trans mess up.

Just thought I'd let you know that someone has posted an Alta 15% pulley, belt & guard in the Marketplace ads. They are only asking $130.00. Might save you a little money.
