Or 10426 would fit I'd believe. 18" body vs the 14" will be better to break up resonance a bit better.

10436 is 22" body. This would be best, and I believe matches the JCW resonator length? Though I could be wrong and the JCW could be 22" overall, but I THINK its body length.

I'd go my last suggestion out of those if it'll fit. If you get your car up in the air just measure how much straight pipe length there is above the center brace. It should fit. I actually may swap this myself if it helps the drone.

I really want the less drone as possible so I might go for the 10436 -

Which one do you have?

And no I didn't get the part numbers from your youtube, I sat on the stupid magnaflow site last night and searched lol

Thanks for the help!

It drones. Drones bad.

Also, check performancepeddler.com so much cheaper.

I had my Magnaflow Muffler installed today. Holy Crap this thing has serious DRONE on the Highway. I come to find out the dope that installed it used 3.5" pipe!!!! He said it is really 2.5" because of the bends he put in the pipe for a factory fit. Every kid I pass in a Honda give me the nod of approval. LOL. Plus to my surprise it cost me just over $500! I thought it was going to be around $350 as quoted to me by a different shop. I should have asked! Lesson Learned. By the time I fix this one with cost, I could have purchased a nice Stainless catback system.

The icing on the cake was while waiting for a red light enroute to the garage, a lady in a mini van rolled into me. Luckily no damage. The 100 coats of wax paid off. It has been a crappy DAY!

Holy crap! 3.5"? I'd be careful of your car running too lean because of little to no back pressure. Could kill the engine worst case scenario. I would go back and have them redo it since it seems the shop messed up your piping...

I really dont want them touching my Mini again. I am going to wait and have it eventually redone. Unless I find a Nice Used Cat Back system.

All i have is the stock down pipe, then a straight pipe from there. It sounds great. no drone or at least not noticeable. I don't know where you live but technically a turbo, is a turbo muffler, so you can try that card if you only need one baffling device in your state. I dont know that much about turbo cars, but the exhaust back pressure doesn't matter nearly as much as it does on a NA car. The turbo should supply all the back pressure you motor requires. I think, correct me if im wrong

All that I have read says that a turbo car can run with out any exhaust after the turbo. That being said the problem is you will have major boost creep. Meaning as the turbo spools up it will spike before the waist gate can open and manage boost as it should ie holding boost at a set perimeter per rpm

That's what I thought, when I was running my 2.5 straight pipe i never noticed anything like that. Maybe it still had enough pressure to keep it under control.

OMG your MINI must be a cop magnet! I'm driving with a damaged flex section on my exhaust and it sounds practically like an open pipe. Can't wait to get it fixed this weekend since it sounds like bum
