Jan, are you planning on heading to the Pacific NW with the demo car. I'd like to take a ride and see what the difference is.

m7 Tuning
we still have cars running the M45 at Nationals and are on the podium

we have not run the Rotrex yet in NASA as we are looking for classification to get the car setup within the rules. That is the one beauty of redline OR SPeed Ventures......run what ya brung............ the tires set the class.......... those are recognized events

So running slicks in redline put us in unlimited which we would have won anyways...............

I would like to bring the car up if we can get a track day where we don't get stuck driving with instructors.

Ask RAE on Motoring Alliance about her ride with Ian at Thunderhill and Kurt Hammond (corners)

Just wanted to say I saw the Sprintex setup on display at MOTD 2011. Looked pretty tight. If I actually decide to upgrade sometime in the future, I'd like to hold out for the Eaton TVS setup.

I am in agreement that this thread is strayin far off topic. Jan you are trying to put up too big of a fight here in my opinion. I for one never questioned Ians abilitty to drive your car on a racetrack, to me and a few others here racetrack wins, and laptimes done by a professional driver mean NOTHING (well VERRY little) when selecting a part. I am an equal opperitunity modder, I simply use the parts that meet my specifiic criteria for my application, within my price range of what I am willing to pay per HP/TQ. Yes your snailcharger system does produce good results, however I am not a shop with an unlimited buget, and will never claim to be. Face the facts here, 99% of people who own MINI's are not pro racers or people with 10K sitting around to add some more poop to their 1.6L freak of a motor.
However the Sprintex option is verry cost effective, with a waranty for the people who are into that sort of thing. No you probably wont get into the 400HP range with a Sprintex, but anything over 300 results in some bad traction issues in any FWD car. If you add up the cost of everything that the Sprintex replaces from the factory the differance may only be a few hundred dollars more, plus the verrified 30+ HP. That is what apeals to the average person. Even to get an M45 car into the 200 range to the ground on an honest Mustang dyno you are easily looking at more money than the Sprintex.
I personally feel that this S/C kit is a good bang for the buck mod, that dosen't require building up the entire engine to make it ready for the average weekend warrior.
I'm sorry you passed up the opperitunity to market this kit, based on a thrown togeather prototype that failed your needs, but please stop trying to discurage those who are intrested in the Sprintex form spending their hard earned cash at another vendor.

I have to laugh at your blind following of the product even when YOUR guys post the data that shows it's NOT ACCURATE DATA...........

if you think I'm putting up a fight.......you sure don't know me very well

Yes we get it Jan... the starting temps aren't the same.. point proven. you happy, I said it. Post this to your folder and give it up if thats all you got. But atleast there was data posted... and not just a BS dyno chart.. actual datalogging done by the stock ECU. give it a rest, learn how to do that for your customers and go help them. Im looking a few threads of blown motors with your tune and wondering how you find the time to bicker with us.. Let alone all the people asking for data logging w/o a standalone ECU and a final price number on your Rotrex Kit, along with all it takes to get it to the numbers you claim.

What did LB make with the stock IC ? 270ish ?

You have to compare like with like................so when someone does a FMIC Sprintex then that is a direct comparison to where Jan is currently at with the Rotrex.

We know that Minicrafts Opcon supercharger was working very well IAT wise with a FMIC

Wow. This thread has become a fail whale.

"Qualify each and every client" arrogance has a smell, and its dense enough to see in this thread.

^Looks fairly straight forward no more difficult than swapping out the M45...

The instruction manual from sprintex also looks very professionally done with great step by step instructions
