>>Hey chollomo,

>>I'm also in DC with a CVT MC, and would not want to go to a stick. This traffic is really bad at times, and I have bad knees. My wife and I have also lived in Arizona and we have relatives there. Small world.

hey i am in dc too, right across the pond in crystal city!!! once they perfect the turbo cvt, i will queue up for one used to live in cleveland and traffic is nothing compared to dc or new york city (growing up across from shea stadium!!)

I was not going to say anything but.......we are bringing the TURBO MC to Vegas for the Mini Vacation in Vegas...
We are finished with the Turbo system, it's running like clock work with over 3000 hard driven miles.

We will offer test drives, so everyone can find out what a kick *** system M7 has put together. We did some final
adjustments the other day and we will put it on the dyno before the Vegas event

If you have a question regarding this or any other product we make, feel free to call me any time.

Hey chollomo,
Yeah, looking forward to seeing Peter's (M7) results after he tests the turbo on the CVT MC version. Since he did not mention that in his last post on this thread, I'm assuming he has not started with that project yet.

Hey ecl3x,
I'm in Alexandria - Landmark area. Hope to run into you some time. I like the turbo too, and don't know if I'll get that or just upgrade the heck out of the engine -- but want to wait awhile first as I just bought the car. There are plusses and minuses with both. I think the turbo will be faster and more torque, but I'm worried about the extra heat it generates and engine longevity. Don't know if it actually makes the engine run hotter or not. It should be an awesome combo though. Turbos don't have a real long life either I've heard, as I heard of maybe 100,000 miles, but I'm certainly no expert in all this, and maybe turbos are better now than they used to be.

Haven't heard any new news about the turbo comming out or anything? any new news? Wonderign what stage M7 is in the final production model.. also... does anyone know if the mini keeps track electronically of the transmission temp? My moms for taurus jsut blew out it's tranny, and she didn't have a clue that it was over heating.. I was wondering, if the tranny started to go out on a mini does a light come or soemthing? If I get this mod I'll deffintly look into getting a tranmission sensor unless the mini already has one.
