Why go stock when this is much better.

One of the few things that helps with Hp, or just lessens the load on the engine. Just read the other thread you posted on.

I would love to get my hands on one of those, but money is a killer for me right now, just keeping up paying full time schooling, and need the car back running asap.

Hope your other post gains you something then
You might try PM'ing a few of the people who replaced theirs. Your post alone might not get through with an email notice.

Pelican Parts list new ones at $316: N14 Intercooler. Significantly cheaper than an aftermarket upgrade.

Man, if he only posted that a day earlier
I just picked a brand new Alta for $525,
What do you guys think is worth keeping,
Don't think it will make a significant difference compared to stock one.

Best thing to do is read this thread to see the reaction of people who switched intercoolers, then decide. I know it is for a different brand but the results should be similar:

Personally, I'd keep it. That's the next thing to go into my car.
