Alternator/water-pump belt change-R-56

Has anyone,

changed the belt yet?

What is the best procedure, do we have to remove the right head lamp also?

Thanks

The water pump does not have a belt, it uses the crazy friction wheel. The belt goes around the crank, AC compressor and alternator. You will need to remove the passenger side wheel liner to access it. You can use a pair of pliers (carefully) to take the tension off the tensioner pulley, there is a pin you slide into place that will hold it. After the tension is off, remove the friction assembly (3 bolts) and the belt will come off easily.
