Alta Exhaust Issue?

Does anyone else have an Alta exhaust on their R53 that finds it moves too much? After peeking under my car today it seems that I really need to weld another bracket on the exhaust and mount it into the other stock bushing if I want it to stay put. Is that the case? Does anyone else have a fix that's less burn and more clip? I'd appreciate it.

i have the alta. i made some clamps for the rear hangers out of small hose clamps with some rubber that help clamp around the little allen wrench parts

i had the same problem with mine. what i did was weld an extra metal piece onto the hanger then connect that to the underside of the car where the heat resonance is. ill post up a picture. also what will work is that the hanger closest to the tips (the one that screws tight) is probably lose and causing it to bounce up and down. spot weld it, not screw it on. as for the side to side, i just inserted that extra hanger and it perfect. ill post up a picture.

as you can see, on the hanger closest to the right corner of the car, there is another metal rod attached to it. that rod goes straight up and then connects onto a screw that is right ontop of that. if you look under your car, you will see what im talking about.

On my original One Ball Mod, in the area where the resonator was I welded a hook to the unused hangar attached to the area behind the exit pipes. It brought the whole system back to center of rear valance opening and displaced the stress and weight of the system more evenly.

I would think that would be an issue for any one sided system too.
