Hey Guys,

Anyone used TyrolSport in NYC for installing mods??? What did you think? Might stick with Helix, but was tempted to try Tryol since I live in Manhattan and I'm fairly lazy. Probably installing CAI, pulley, colder plugs and rear sway bar.

Mark.

I know Tyrolsport has a very good reputation in the VW world if that means anything to you.

Thanks. Yeah I got that impression, too. Just wondered if any fellow Newyorker had taken their Mini to Tyrol and how they found it.

I installed them on the rear calipers with only 3K miles on my car.

The bronze bushings were, too, long & the tolerances are loose.

Less flex than the OEM rubber bushings that retain the calipers but they do clank when I hit the brakes after reversing.

Ummm dude,

I think he is talking about the shop in NY called "Tyrolsport" not the Bronze bushings they make.

Yes. I'm talking about the shop/their services not their products. :-)
