nice. im guessing its just parked during winter? Those tires wouldnt get through anything lol
It's parked when it snows. I tried to move it closer to the house last night with the factory contisports just after it started snowing, Made it about ten feet before backing back into that spot!
Nice set of rims bud, looks good.
I feel your pain about the snow. We didn't get near that much here but we did get enough to make a fine mess of the roads this morning...i frigin hate being late for work!!
Looks great, that's some serious dedication! Now it looks like you need some coilovers.
I was thinking about getting some H&R springs. BUT, I have spent quite a bit in the last month on the Mini. I need to cool it for a little while. I have a carbon fiber Vortex 2 hood scoop on order. After that I'm done for a while. Although the springs really aren't all that much...
Thanks for the kind words guys. I was struggling over a couple of different wheels until I saw these.
Very sweet wheels. I have to say that I thought I would be the only one insane enought to dig my MINI out of the snow to put anything new on it. You beat me!

LOL! I'm pretty sure my neighbors think I'm nuts. For the last month I've been out there in every weekend working on my car. Two of them asked me if I was a mechanic. I didn't bother to tell them that if I was a mechanic, I would most likely have a better place to work on my car!

Snow is just 50% of the problem when using summer tires in the winter...the tread compound itself is no good even for dry traction below 40 degrees.....

This may be splitting hairs, but if you're going to break it down % wise, snow is MUCH more of a problem for summer tires than 50%.
