Riss o2 sim impressions
Install was a breeze and completed in less than 15 minutes .
So far 30 miles of hiway driving and no CEL
Looks like Adam is doing much better solo than he did with
the people riss was partnered with in the past .
Best Wishes to Adam and Riss Racing, the Mini family should be thankful that we have a quality performance manufacter in the Mini world

problems with O2 sim?
I see there are problems with the O2 sim. What are they?
I think it is important to keep us interested potential buyers informed. This section is much better to use instead of the "group buy" section.

I would be so pissed if I bought one of these and it was tripping CELs. So much for those big promises from Riss Racing. True high-school engineering.

It is my understanding that , at least 20 units were sold in the first batch. We have heard about JamesHunt's experiences, but nobudy elses. What is going on with the other 19 customers as well as...............What does Riss have to say about the device's performance?

This is something we're checking into as well. We have a working sim (100% working, no codes/pending codes) and the signals match on the new system.
If this continues and the P2270 stays on, we are going to develop a new system that incorporates a USB connection w/ software to manipulate the signal in safe limitations. If we need to richen the signal more, we will do this. Our priority is to make sure these are working correctly as our first GB members have the system. We have our engineer coming back down early next week with a new system so we can re-check all signals to make sure there is compatibility.

This O2 sim is the ONLY reason why I bought a catless downpipe to begin with. I'm not sure which code is causing the CEL; I'm picking up a Scanguage today or tomorrow and will know for sure here shortly...

Doing a build for one lap of america.I hope to have everything done for this years event
worst case showcar at sema and pri then do the 2011 one lap.so far sponsors are BC Racing,Defenders of Speed,Powerhouse Motorsports,Macedo Motorsports,Swift,SSR Wheels,Brembo,Escort,Castrol.
