I've traditionally only offered our WMW downpipe with a cat. But we just did one for a customer that was catless, so if enough other people want one we'll start offering that too.
That customer would be me... as soon as I get the rest of the exhaust on the car I will post a video of the sound. Right now the sound with the stock exhaust actually sounds pretty good. It's not loud at all until you get on it, and then it sounds pretty throaty.

I feel this DP and Jan's new basic tune unit is going to add some serious HP for as little as $550.

not really only if you don't like the cel light. Even if you get RR o2 fix still more bang for the buck on any other performance parts.

The Riss 02 Sim works

Next to a RMW remote tune the RISS o2 sim is the best upgrade for the money .

I just picked up a catback exhaust last night from a local sale - Barely used. The pipe diameter on it should hopefully match up with the OBX DP/Midpipe. Its gonna run 2.5 inches downpipe inlet to 2.25 inches back at the midpipe, and then expand back out to 2.5 inches to the tail. Not bad for the prices I paid, less than $400 for everything so far.

Why would you want to connect an aftermarket down pipe to a stock dp?

I would buy one today, but Racing Parts Depot want US$120 to ship one to me in Australia.

$120 to ship a $150 part?

I got a WMW CatBack exhaust for this; so if anything I'll need to hack that up to get things fitting properly. My objective is to not harm the stock exhaust system for emissions and resale reasons.

I think the WMW cat back might be the best chance I've got seeing as it accepts a pipe rather than a flange, and this OBX is justa pipe. If my measurements are correct It'll fit right together.

Do you think we should put some header-wrap on this OBX downpipe??

Still in shipping. UPS tracking says I'll get this downpipe on Monday. Already i have a concern over this DP since the traching number says the shipment only weighs in at 13 pounds... Thats not very much for a hopefull 4 feet of 2.5inch stainless.

Just did some calcs, having a thickness of 1.5mm, 4 feet of steel of 2.5in outer diameter would weigh about 12.5 pounds.

I did the same calculations and came up with about the same thing, but didnt take in account the flange and shipping materials. I hope i get both the downpipe and midpipe like the pictures show.

Is 1.5mm thick enough for a downpipe? My WMW cat-back appears to be 1.5mm but a lot heavier.

I GOT IT!!!! $174 shipped from CA to GA today!

Its a two piece system, JUST LIKE THE PICTURES on eBay!!

So far everything looks awsome, and all I think I'll need to bolt it up to my WMW aftermarket cat-back is a new exhaustclamp (Maybe $30?) from either Napa or Summit Racing.

The pipe thickness is identical to the WMW Exhaust. The Downpipe is 2.5inches outside diameter, while the midpipe is just 2 and 3/8 inch back to the cat-back. This is a very good thing; as the midpipe will easilly slip inside of my 2.5" WMW Catback - Just need the clamp!

The bad; well - I dont really like the connection point between the DP and the Midpipe. It is a flexible thick gasket which you can clearly see was the case pictured on EBay. I'll give it a go for now; but if it gives me any trouble I'll just have to get a length of SS flex-pipe from Summit for another ~$30 plus a few clamps... Still it will probably end up being much less than anything else by far and then it will be better than probably anything comparable.

Photos coming up in just a bit
