Jan tuned my car so that on a cold start it would idle at about 11-1200 rpm, so it's nice and smooth. When the car warms up, idle falls back toward normal.
Mine is the same as this but at idle it is almost 900rpm's

I am very interested in getting a cam. Did the header because I had to but still want to get some more power. What hp increases have people seen with a new cam? And how difficult is the install?
Depends on which cam... With the RMW/Newman cam, the biggest benefit is that it moves the torque curve up in the midrange - does a little (not a lot) for "peak HP" - so doesn't help a lot if you're a dyno racer - but for real world driveability - it's an immediately noticeable improvement in TQ from about 2500-5000 RPM. And the dyno plot will reflect that.
