modify wastegate acuator

hi, I read elsewhere that 2 turns the wastegate actuator you gets more boost peaks and more boost as well in low regimes, someone modified it? turned the screw ?

DONT DO THIS! in theory it would work, with other cars it works and gives more boost but your not adding fuel in those cars, the mini ecu is very temperamental, your car will NOT run right, if it will even get down the street

Estoy waing recive my boost and air/fuel gauges, later i will move this ****... i took with a lot of people the result is a more stable boost

well,I just finished playing the WG, I gave it two laps and the car really feels more awake, especially at low revolutions and in the use of city, I am more than happy, I recommend it totally!! tomorow i wil give it 2 or 3 more....

2 turns is nothing, my wideband shows the some numbers aprox, today i will give it 4 more turns... the peak was 20.5PSI, now is 21PSI but the car have more reaccion at low RPM and is better in hi speed, the time to pass from 170 to 210 is shorter. i recommended!

Better get some Ultra-High Octane (100+) fuel to burn, you are depending on Anti_detonation ECU to protect from blowing pistons with a modified waste-gate!

It can back the timing, but may not be able to limit the boost.

i dont have too much boost, only 21psi in peak in 4th and 5th.... someones have 23psi peak and dont have problems of detonation

how are you getting to the rod? are you taking the turbo off??

While I don't recommend doing this I'm just waiting to learn from someone elses mistakes.

23psi.... that is a ridiculous amount of boost for the MINI motor without seriously modified internals..
