JCW Intake question

I'm in the process of swapping out the JCW Intake (installed by previous owner) to an Alta intake on my 05MCS. Problem is, it doesn't line up correctly with the bottom part of the intake, so I got to looking around and does the JCW kit include the top and bottom parts of the intake? From what I can find, it does. Thus, I guess that means I need a new stock bottom part of the intake. Is this correct? And if so, anyone know where I can buy one?

Thanks!

From: Camano Island, WA, but wish was still Oahu, Hawaii
the ALTA is wider, overhangs on the passenger side of the airbox. They included a weather strip on mine to install to seal that lower part.

You are correct the top & bottom are included with the JCW intake. You will need the stock bottom piece that came on an S. Try posting a want ad in the Market here.

Any dealer can get that for you. Classic MINI in Ohio offers a nice NAM discount. I've used them a few times & they provide great service.

You might also try Chad at Detroit Tuned. He may have one laying around. Call him Monday, today & tomorrow he is running a Lemons car around Nelson Ledges.

A month later but thought I would ask...

Do you still have the JCW intake?...would like to buy it.
You can use my OEM S bottom piece if your still on this project.
