How loud is the RMW race system?

How loud is the full RMW exhaust system in comparison to other systems? I have the oppurtunity to buy one (rare as hen's teeth here in the UK) but wanted to know whether it's louder than a Magnaflow catback on a stock car? I had the early Magnaflow on a stock engine and found it too loud - would the RMW race system be louder or comparable?

Thanks in advance

Full system - RMW header and RMW exhaust. How loud on a scale of 1-10, with stock system being a 2ish?

LOL! It's gonna be loud... I have a Mynes straight header, high flow CAT and a single sided exhaust with no resonator. I hit 113dB at full throttle last time at the track. Needless to say, after an hour, my ears were ringing. I now have a 14" resonator in there to quiet things a little bit.

If you cannot stand the noise levels of a Magnaflow Cat-back, do not put on headers and the race exhaust.

My car is about the as loud as a miltek. It is a little loud, but not something you can't live with.

Sorry Checkers, so you're saying your RMW header + Magnaflow is almost as loud as a Milltek system?

We have the full RMW race exhaust and it was a little less loud than the OBX/Magnaflow combo that it replaced. We like it and get complimented on it all the time.

I have the rmw street header coupled with the Miltek exhaust and love it. I do sometimes wish it were louder though

No one has gotten any sound data? My car, with stock header and a Borla Sport cat-back has interior noise levels of about 95-100dB at 75mph on the interstate, and 90-95dB around town. The sound peaks at 110dB during a full throttle run to redline.

I know right? I cannot believe everyone doesn't drive around with dB meter or reader in their cars! Sheesh.

FWIW I Dyno'd my car at the same time as several others with full RMW header/exhaust; mine with OBX/Milltek was noticably louder. I think most were the street header though...

I'm wondering the same thing. I'm a bit hesitant because my exhaust right now is super loud already. If I throw a header on it, it may be way too loud. Not to mention, I'm also worried about failing emissions in Mass.

I think it is comparable to the sound of a miltek system. I have RMW's racing header.

I have the RMW race header and his "quiet" exhaust. It is MUCH quieter than the borla exhaust I had before. Kinda boring quiet now that I have it, but that's what I wanted. People blocks away would turn around when I had the borla.

Actually, the only thing I hear when getting on it is the SCREAM from the aluminum pipe I have for the intake.

I've heard that the Mynes header is quite a bit louder than the RMW.

It is loud. I had a decibel meter in my car for a few laps at the track and down the back straight at full-throttle, it was 113dB inside with windows down. If you were subjected to that kind of loud noise for 20 minutes straight, you would have permanent hearing damage. Keep in mind, this was without a resonator...with a resonator now welded on, it is bearable. http://vimeo.com/5604457

I would say that the RMW header is much easier to live with day to day.

The RMW with Milltek sounds VERY good.. probably the best I've heard up there with the stock header/invidia combo.

Sorry for off guys
Hey what did you mount the "sideways" view camera with? Nice video, I have GOPro mounted on dash, but miss my shifts on previous hand held camera mount.
