BACK BOX question

HI guys,

I went to my local powerflow to try get some mods done to my exhaust that the dealer wouldnt be able to see. (i cant loose my motorplan, they really strict in my country) THey didnt give me the info i was looking for so my question is:

I am looking just to get more sound but i cant play with the cats or downpipe.
Just changing the backbox would it actually make a difference? or would it be so minimal that its a waiste of time.

Yes, that is called a cat back system. Because it changes the exhaust pipe behind the cat, leaving the cats and the down pipe. You will not get any improvement in performance however you will get a better sound. Make sure to listen to many systems before you choose they all sound different.

thanx, no sound listening here, im probably the only person in my country that wants to mod my cooper and make her sound and look good. But i cant play with it too much because dealers are extremely strict.
