Drivetrain Borla Mufflers
Borla Mufflers
I'm wondering to get by cheaper can you just buy the borla mufflers and adapt them into the stock exhaust? If so what muffler do you use? The mufflers alone are cheap so I figured it would save quite a bit plus give you the sound of the borla.
Well, the ultimate cheap exhaust mod is the one-ball, wherein they cut out one of the stock mufflers. You save weight, gain more noise, and only pay for the muffler shop to cut and re-weld some pipe.
As for me, I went for the full Borla sport cat-back back in 2002.

If your going to do something custom like that you should get larger pipe rather than using the stock pipe. That helps with the flow.
