Drivetrain RMW Tuned after AMVIV
Learn to interpret things.. He's not saying to look at the numbers in lower portion of the RPM band. He's telling you to look at PEAK numbers, peak being up top on Jan's tune and peak being somewhere near 4k without the tune. You'll notice peak torque increased by about 20, not 40 like you may, or may not be, interpreting from the dyno graph...
Before you call my a Mynes cronie keep in mind I'm looking at products from BOTH vendors. Simply tired of your remarks which have no real backing or merit. I do hope you can make it out to the tune party in South Florida if it happens. Then we can compare cars and hell, you can even drive mine pre/post tune so you can experience firsthand the results of a Mynes tune.

the post was put up like to to show area "under the curve" which was greatly increased. This is what is incredibly important to driveability and acceleration. It's not just about peak numbers. As you can see its 20-23ft lbs peak but the whole graph is higher than what he had before. It's DRAMATIC..................... at high rpms that kind of difference is devasting

The points i'm trying to get across are these:
1. Learn to observe data put forth and come up with your own conclusion.
2. If your conclusion does not match what's put forth, then ask the right questions to get a clarification.
3. For the car to nose-dive on the torque like that, it's a tell-tell sign that the car has mechanical issues.
And finally...If you're asking the honest questions on this board, prepare to be attacked.
CASE CLOSED...
Finally, someone who can look at the graphs and INTERPRET the curves correctly. I posted that simple question and everyone thinks i'm bashing or hating....

typical answer from you mike
try looking at all dyno graphs of Mini's on a dynapack with the stock header
you might learn something
then again.......maybe not

you may understand Mustang dyno's but knowing what's normal on a dynapack you sure don't
really classy threatening people... real classy

I think he's saying that if the people on here(including him) are asking honest questions...then they are the ones that should be prepared to be attacked.
I don't think Mike was threatening you...see my post above.
Rob, It looks like your base dyno numbers and the Mynes "Green Machine's Dyno" numbers are almost identical... both of our Mustang dyno read pretty close.
Your Base Numbers on Cobb's MD: 160whp/146wtqe with stock rev-limiter 6950rpm.
Mynes Base Numbers on our MD: 171whp/149wtqe with rev-limiter raised to 7300.
As i stated in my Post #2 of the Mynes Thread, we raised the rev-limiter to 7300rpm b/c that's where MINIs make the peak horsepower (you "ole tried and true experienced R53 tuner" should have told you that, no?). So if you raised your Rev-Limiter were to be raised to 7300rpm, and i'm sure your base dyno number would be around 170whp.
So bottomline is this: Your MINI and the MYNES Green MINI start at the SAME BASELINE numbers!!! You proved it right here...
Even though you have the 17% pulley and the exhaust, the car does NOT take up all the adaptions and make power on its own... that's why a custom tune is really important to harness all the potential of these upgrades. By increasing the rev-limiter 350 rpm (from 6950 to 7300), any mini is going to make more power.
So your observations about the Mynes MD reading high is unfounded. So if you want to find out how much power your car is really making right now, just take your car back to Cobb's MD and you'll get the REAL Dyno number
Cheers.

On a side note: I have my parts on order and I'm giddy with excitement

Can anyone guess who it is?

I'm just saying, if someone were to ask the honest questions, prepare youself to get attack by other posters (i.e. what's happening in this case)...
Seems like you have issues with comprehension lmao... Partsman is right, Mike@Mynes wasn't threatening you...
Clarification on this statement...

see it seems to me that there is flaws in mynes logic and business model...and if u poke hard enuf they get extremely defensive...what started all this was when i pointed out a few things and got pounced on by a few butthurt individuals
Yes you did(ask a honest question)...after you made the Mynes guys jump through hoops for you.
on the side note... did you order your onwhorizen intake?
lol jump through hoops?nothing that i said couldnt be answered simply...that is if they had a legimate answer...
Some people like and are satisfied with RMW products/service, and some people like and are satisfied with Mynes & ABF products/service. What's the big deal? Yes, customer loyalty is important , but, IMO, there's still plenty of room out there for different products and different approaches.
