I was wondering if a custom tune event is planned for west Texas in the near future. Not sure how many MINI enthusiasts in west Texas would be interested but it would be nice if it happened. I think there is a very reputable speed shop in El Paso with a decent dyno. I put my name down. I wonder if the guys from RMW or Mynes would be interested.

I think if you want a custom tune event to take place, you need to contact
and make arrangments. Call the tuners, call the shop get pricing for dyno/tune,
compatability/preference of dyno. Then you may be able to get an event together.
I'll let my Dad know, he lives in El Paso and has an '04 S.
He may be interested. Good luck.

That's 5 people so far. Good! Maybe we should talk to mike. I'm putting in the pulley this weekend. I should be a ready for tune after next week. Lets start a formal list and take from there. I'm in like Flynn (an old Australian saying). I have a new cam (of many names...) and would love to get the car tuned for it properly.

I just got off the phone with Mike at Mynes performance and we need to formalize the list and agree on a date (pending the speed shop schedule). I'm not sure if I should post the price for the tuning but it is very good. PM me for more info.

Today, I talked to the owner of speed factory tuning in El Paso, TX and he agreed to open on a Saturday including the use of the mustang dyno for $500.00.

Let's hope we get a good list of interested mini maniacs. So far about 6 people showed interest. That means that for now the cost per tune would be $433.00. Broken down into $350.00 for tuning and $83 for the dyno time. With more people we can bring the dyno cost per person even lower. Let me see your hands!

That's indeed a good deal for the dyno. If you guys need injectors, pls let me know ahead of time so i get them all ready. At AMVIV, i had 3 presold and i brought 6 sets and they were all gone by day Two :(

the 380's should be ok. But if you decide to upgrade the Cam, then i would recommend the 550's :D
